The Ballarat Gold Mine is owned and operated by Victory Minerals. Como Engineers are currently onsite at the Ballarat Gold Mine, located in Central Victoria installing an additional ball mill to the operation.
The 1 MW mill will permit a more consistent grind size which in turn will improve the recovery in the flotation circuit.
This will also allow for tailings to be reclaimed for processing and thereby provide the abilty to operate the plant at a higher utilisation level.
Work onsite is well advanced with the concrete pouring of the foundations and form work for the mill pedestals established.
It is also quite a bit colder than what most Western Australian operations see. At -2oC even the cars are feeling it!
