In 2021 Como Engineers supplied Gübretaş Maden a 2 tonne modular Pressure Zadra gold elution plant for their new Söğüt Gold Mine located in central Türkiye. Como Engineers also supplied a Gold Room along with Carbon Regeneration, Transfer Water and Fine Carbon Handling systems. In addition the elution heater, drying oven, smelting furnace and regeneration kiln were all electrically powered.
With the growth of the mine, there is now a need for additional capacity. Como has worked with Gübretaş Maden to provide a suitable solution.
At this point, the skid and other unit operations are being made in our Maddington workshop. This is what the product looks like at the beginning of the journey.
While Como Engineers plants are typically painted Como blue, in this case the client requested a green. It’s that level of detail that we are proud to be able to bring to our jobs.
