Boorara Gold Project

Como Engineers were engaged to undertake a Pre Feasibility (PFS) and Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for the process design of a 1.5 Mtpa gold process plant and associated infrastructure.

The feasibility study scope of work included the following:

• Undertake Gap Analysis on metallurgical testwork, looking at different ore types and lithologies;
• Generate a Design Criteria for the treatment plant showing the different ore types;
• With inputs from mining for non-process flows generate an overall water balance for the site;
• Generate the equipment list including sizing, selection, and face plate power for the treatment plant;
• Generate the plant infrastructure requirements and costs
• Develop plant layout drawing and incorporate other areas to enable overall all site layout to be compiled i.e., mine, haul roads, tailings dam;
• Generate general arrangement drawings for the processing plant to be used as the basis of the plant estimate;
• Generate capital cost estimate for the processing facility to an accuracy of +/-15% with multiple sourced pricing and detailed MTOs.
