This find in Ballarat led to the Victorian gold rush, which saw the area become the richest goldfield in the world and attracted thousands of prospectors from around the globe, and making Victoria the envy of many countries for years thereafter.
Fast forward to 2025 and Como Engineers are onsite at the Ballarat Gold Mine (owned by Victory Minerals), installing a ball mill as part of an upgrade to their operation.
The 1 MW mill will permit a more consistent grind size which in turn will improve the recovery in the flotation circuit.
