Kibali Gold Mine – Electrowinning Cells

Como Engineers were engaged to supply 13 off of the high-temperature non-drip design 1000x1000x12 ESF Series Electrowinning Cells. 13 additional 2000A SCR type rectifiers with remote voltage and current IO were also supplied as part of the package. As part of the design for the 3 electrowinning circuits, Como assisted in the feasibility and selection of the cells and rectifiers.

Como attended the Kibali site in the Democratic Republic of Congo for commissioning and installation of the cell and rectifier package.
