The Carbon in Column (CIC) circuit for the Pani Gold Project includes the supply of two (2) CIC Trains with each train capable of treating 500 m3/hr PLS flow, and one (1) Scavenger Plant 500 m3/hr.
All carbon transfers are conducted using client supplied available water pressure, thereby not requiring any additional pump sets. This is a unique design element which Como Engineers utilises on its CIC circuits (and Modular Elution Plants) to significantly reduce carbon attrition and therefore carbon fines generation.
This similar design has been constructed at the Tujuh Bukit mine site in Indonesia and duplicated a number of times as the plant throughput was increased to allow progressive expansion of the mine site. This system has proven to be easy to install, quick to commission and operating without issue for a number of years and consistently results in a clean, virtually spill free environment.
Observant followers of Como Engineers may recall the Como Engineers post from earlier in April which showed the development of a 6T Pressure Zadra gold elution plant
The PZ gold elution plant is currently well underway at our Maddington workshops.
Now you can see the progress of the CIC plant being project managed from our PT Como Engineers offices in Jakarta.
And you may even notice the distinctive green colour scheme.
