Como Engineers Pty Ltd has successfully provided engineering and metallurgy solutions, construction services and specialist products to the mineral processing industry since 1986. The Company, led by our founder Richard Ladyman, is based in Perth, Western Australia and services clients throughout Australia and the world.

Como Engineers philosophy of “fit for purpose” means we can provide our clients with practical cost effective solutions to their timing, budget and market needs. Our highly experienced technical team is committed to adding value through innovation and knowledge, delivering results that are pragmatic, what the client wants and on time.

Como Engineers core focus of providing engineering, materials handling, metallurgical services, supply and construction and specialist products has recently been expanded to include mining and engineering skills. No job is too big or too small and we will work anywhere in the world. Our strength lies in our diversity, from conducting a simple scoping study; to a full Definitive Feasibility Study through to process design and total Project Management we can deliver globally “From Concept to Completion”.

One of our recent key developments and a real growth area is the supply of modular stripping plants. These units are constructed, tested and pre-erected in controlled environs in Perth, before being shipped around the world. Once delivered to site construction time is reduced from months to days, providing enormous advantages for our clients. Just another way Como Engineers can save the client time and money.

Como Engineers has been operating in the mineral processing sector for the past 24 years and has experience in all mineral processing plants, including:

• Iron Ore Project development
• Gold and silver; including CIP/CIL, Merrill Crowe, vat, dump and heap leaching, bacterial leaching and roasting. Como Engineers also supplies proprietary equipment to the gold industry, particularly gold recovery circuits (IPS elution circuits, electrowinning cells and furnaces among others).
• Nickel; both sulphide and laterite circuits and smelting.
• Tin, tantalum, wolfram; involving circuits from HMS to fine particle separation.
• Uranium (hydrometallurgy).
• Lead
• Copper (flotation).
• Mineral sands.
• Industrial minerals (eg zircon micronising).
