MODULAR STRIPPING PLANTS
Como Engineers have now established themselves as world leaders in providing fit for purpose modular strip plants. Built in Perth, Western Australia these plants are fully commissioned before being sent around the world.
Over the past ten years, Como Engineers has developed its expertise and now specialises in building modular containerised; gold desorption, carbon reactivation and gold refining plants that can be shipped anywhere in the world. Using our extensive technical and practical experience gained over 24 years of working on gold processing plants, we have developed our skill to providing modular equipment and elution circuits.
Our customers get a fully designed stripping circuit, tailored for their specific needs. Once you have provided your requirements we undertake all the engineering, design, fabrication and construction right through to fully commissioning your unit, here in Perth, before we ship to your project.
The plants are designed to fit into 40ft sea containers, in which they can easily be transported to anywhere in the world. Recent clients have been in Canada, Indonesia, Morocco, Vietnam and the Goldfields of Western Australia.

PRESSURE OR ATMOSPHERIC ZADRA -
Como Engineers experience in carbon elution systems allows us to provide a range of systems from the; traditional Anglo American Research Laboratories (AARL) elution method, through to the more cost effective Atmospheric and Pressure Zadra elution systems and the proprietary high rate desorption strip, the Integral Pressure Strip (IPS).
Strip rates as low as five hours are being achieved by our plants depending on gold grades and the elution process selected and regularly exceeding our client’s expectations and design criteria. All our stripping plants can be supplied with optional custom sized sludge recovery, horizontal carbon regeneration and gold room modules, or select from our range of gold processing equipment.
OPTIONS, SUPPORT AND SPARE PARTS
We also supply individual modules, including; elution, gold rooms or carbon regeneration units. These items can be ordered as replacements or to enhance the performance of existing gold rooms, Como Engineers also supplies all your spares including the extremely popular stainless steel electrowinning cells, rectifiers, carbon regeneration kilns and gold barring furnaces or whatever else you require.
BATEMAN ENGINEERING
In 2009 Como Engineers Pty Ltd and Bateman Engineering entered into a distribution agreement to supply modular plants worldwide and to enhance technical service and response. As global agent and distributor of the modular gold and elution plants for Como Engineers, Bateman Engineering will ensure the required modular plant is delivered and installed on time and on budget.

Client: Barrick (Darlot), Darlot Mine Site, Western Australia, Retrofit of 4 tonne automated Pressure Zadra system to existing elution and acid columns.
Client: MCC, Sudan Pilot Plant, Sudan, 2 tonne manual Pressure Zadra elution plant with modular containerised goldroom.
Client: Olympus Pacific Minerals, Phuoc Son Gold Mine, Vietnam 2 tonne PLC automated Pressure Zadra System with 100kg/hr LPG fired carbon regeneration kiln and integral goldroom.
